Infinite announced this week that it is joining the Qualcomm Smart Cities Accelerator Program from Qualcomm Technologies. As part of its collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies, Infinite will further the advancement of smart cities, smart healthcare and smart surveillance by leveraging its next generation solutions and expertise in AI, analytics, digitalization, collective intelligence, UX/UI and security.
According to McKinsey & Company, the smart city industry is projected to be a $400 billion market by 2020, with 600 cities around the globe expected to generate 60 percent of the world’s GDP by 2025.
